Background:
- Huge infrastructure change this weekend, merging sister companies and their domains.
- Tried using Powershell script to create the user accounts....syntax fail.
- Tried Solarwinds Import tool....syntax fail.
- Tried Softerra LDAP syntax fail...even after I exported the user container from the first domain to the second and automatically, and then manually changed the domain name.
- I bought a nice tool called Exchange Server PST that will move the mailboxes nicely i think, provided I create the user accounts correctly.
Question:
I know that the powershell is the way most people do it. Could someone send me the .ps1 script and csv file and do the first couple lines of users in the csv file using my OU path for me so I can fill out the rest? If it could do the user account and mail-enable or even import the inbox s simultaneously that would be even better. You would be doing me such a favor you have no idea.
OU Path: "ADUC\STI.LOCAL\MyBusiness\Users\SBSUsers\" I'm not sure what kind of path you would need for the mailstore for the mailboxes, but I'm pretty sure I named everything defualts through the wizards.
