I got into work on time and when I wen into the kitchen, the floor looked super shinny. After turning on the lights, the floor was flooding. The preasure release valve on the 1 gallon hot water heater had broke open and water was hissing into the cabinet and onto the floor. I called maintenance and they were on their way as I wen tot eh janitor closet and grabbed a mop. It took me 40 minutes to get up as much water as I could from that mess. The fun part is that the kitchen wall when this heater is is a party wall to my IT office. So I spent the rest of the morning disassembling the spare computers and servers from my test bench, my laptop, the e-fax, machine, my desktop PC and finally my whole desk unit. The carpet cleaners are on their way as I type this from a spare office where I have set myself up.
The best part, the kicker in the day, I finally got back on my exercise this morning and so my legs were already hurting from the 3 mile walk I did in 30 minutes.
