Lately since i took over this IT position for my company I have not been able to connect to one of our ASA's from any of the ports, including SSH, Telnet, or console. I have double checked and triple checked the parity and stop bit an xon/xoff setting for console port of putty to no avail. Anyone have any more suggestions to try? I can connect fine to my local ASA, but the one in our other office across the VPN is the one I cannot connect to, the VPN functions fine, just cannot manage the ASA in any way.
-Local ASA (my side of the VPN) 192.168.1.254
When I am ssh'd to local I cannot ping remote ASA but I can ping it if I am RDP'd to a computer across the VPN.
-Remote ASA 192.168.2.1
Spiceworks does pick up remote ASA as a firewall and can obviously ping it. (spiceworks is on a local server to me not over the VPN)
Any suggestions are much appreciated. (If you need any more information regaurding my setup please let me know)
