Firefox, cache, images on page - not reloading.

Hi all,

I am not part of a FF community, so thought I would ask here first. We use a banking platform and use FF solely to access this. At the time it all started the javascript engine in IE was appalling for speed. Anyway, there is a page on the system where it shows normal content and an image. We have had some problems where the image on the page doesn't refresh when the source has been changed. i.e. the image gets updated, the user revisits the page and it still shows the old image.

I have been dealing with the company that looks after the platform and they sent me a screenshot of the headers debug from the main page:

"Headers" Response Headers: Pragma = no-cache, Cache Control = no-cache, no-store.

Now does this mean for this element or for the whole page?

I inspected the image and got:

Cache Control = max-age=0

So I just need a steer as to the hierarchy in web pages. Happy to take elsewhere if it doesn't fall into anyones expertese.

Regards,

Jason
