Okay, here's the deal. Me and a coworker recently stumbled upon a glorious cache of 2GB thumbdrives. The idea popped into my head that perhaps, in some way or another, we might be able to create a bootable Windows environment installed with different categories of software. For example if a computer were to suddenly crash, you could pull out a "Recovery USB" or whatever, boot from it and run the utilities inside of the preinstalled environment. Same for malware, lost passwords, etc.
I know there are great utilities that bypass the need for an opera ting system and simply boot on their own, but I'm just curious. Is this even possible? If so, how the heck do I make it work?
Thanks for your time and happy hacking!
