Hey all, not sure if this is the most appropriate use of the community, but I have a friend in a local software company who is looking for some information on SysAdmins for marketing purposes (no, you do not have to give up your name or email, so no inbox spam) so they can develop a realistic program to demonstrate their product to their target market (Medium-sized company sysadmins).
His email to me was:
We are creating a video targeting IT managers/directors in medium size businesses (companies with less than 1000 employees). In order to fully understand our audience, we’d like know more about their characteristics.
1. IT directors race? Gender?
2. What age range?
3. Are they mostly extroverts or introverts?
You can post answers in here, if you'd like to participate, or you can message me privately. I will pass absolutely ZERO information along that can identify you specifically. All he wants is generalities.
The thing he said to me on the phone that wasn't in the email is that he understands the job environment in the SMB range: under-funded, understaffed, given big projects while having to deal with random tech support issues... and he's hoping what his company has to offer will help alleviate some of that stress.
Thanks for looking at that and I hope to get some answers!
