I have to move 2 VM's from Rackspace to another server located in a data center.
I setup VMWare converter over the internet but it was slow at best. Both servers are in data centers and extremely high speed but the conversion barely broke 500KBps.
I did turn off SSL but have to wait for the server to reboot to see if that will improve speed or not. I also made sure I changed the disk size a little.
Rackspace publishes zero info on how to grab the VM's.
We are trying to move the VM's before we rebuild the system but its not looking good.
I have 2 VM's, 79GB and the other is 98GB. Have roughly 54 hours to make the move. I was hoping to get 6-7MBps which would get me done well under that but no luck.
Cost is not so much an issue here so is there any other method to use with them? I can find no info at all on their site.
