I hope I can lay this all out. I'm far from an expert when it comes to Citrix/Virtualization and I'm still fairly green as far as IT experience in this field so please, ask all the questions you need and hopefully I can answer them.
Here's what I'm dealing with:
We're deploying HP 6360t thin clients to a growing sales team (~150+ users) utilizing Citrix. On a daily basis, users are randomly kicked off, disconnected from their sessions and most of the time, can't get back on without us logging on to one of the now FOUR Citrix servers and manually disconnecting them. Other issues range from complete lockups to poor performance. The most typical error being the, "You already have an instance of this application running..." etc etc.
Again, I don't have a very solid grasp on virtualization so if this is par for the course and nothing to really worry about, I can swallow that. I just know there have got to be larger deployments of Citrix out there that don't have quite the performance/reliability issues.
Here's what I know about our hosted solution:
All of the Citrix servers are virtual (is this common?). As mentioned above, there are currently 4 servers with plans to continue expansion. Our main office is in Southern California while our host is in Minnesota, though, 80-85% of users on thin clients are scattered throughout the states. We have a decent amount of users in the office or in offices around the country but performance is pretty much the same regardless of where the user is.
The big question:
Is this normal? What can we do to improve performance? I've read on various sites some interesting tweaks (disabling sound?) but wasn't sure how big an impact these tweaks actually make. Main applications include Office and a web based, java app that is pretty lightweight. Other than that, we don't really use any other heavy applications.

Hopefully that's a good start! If it's still not clear please let me know and I can provide as much info as possible.
Thanks in advance!
I'm crossposting here from the CITRIX forum as I haven't had hits there and thought maybe this is a better place.
