Here's the scenario :-
270 room building which is all student accommodation. Each room has a cat5 socket supplying internet access via a central proxy.
Customer wants all rooms to have same ssid and password, each room approx. 15' x 15', does not want the admin overhead of any central wifi management. If an AP goes wrong, the student calls the accommodation office and they bring up a spare AP of the same config - plug it into the cat5 and access in restored.
To avoid channel conflicts the AP's need some intelligence to adjust themselves.
First thoughts are a Zyxel AP of some sorts with a locked down config.
