I just installed GFI Languard for a test drive and started by scanning my own computer and I'm somewhat baffled by the results. It has found 47 high security vulnerabilities but they are all from old versions of Flash and Adobe Air that are no longer installed on my computer. It's simply scanning my registry and matching values then reporting, but that can't be right can it? If I go under software audit it doesn't show any of these old versions as installed and yet every screen I look at has large blobs of red indicating that I am vulnerable. Am I missing some obvious global setting that can increase the accuracy?
Has anyone purchased this software and how much did it cost/# of seats? Anytime I look at software that has "Call for pricing" it goes to the bottom of my list .
