Need POE switch - Cisco or ??

I'm looking to purchase a couple of POE switches to facilitate my VOIP roll out but I really have no clue where to start. I've always used Cisco products (I had a CCNA at one point in time) but their prices are pushing my budget to its limits.

My knowledge of the Cisco competitors is next to nothing, but I have heard some good things about Dell switches. I know people on Spiceworks use a little bit of everything and I was hoping to get some input from people who have used Cisco in the past but are now using something else and their thoughts/comparisons between the two.
