My wife is seriously pushing me to get a pair of tablets for my 9&10 year olds, and at the moment I really don't want to do it until I know I can lock the tablets down- I don't want the kids having access to the play store, nor any of the settings. I'd also like to be able to lock youtube down, but as I recall, the youtube rating system rather sucks. Web I'm not too worried about, as the firewalls I use keep that where I want it.
Does anyone already have a good solution for this problem? I can see using an enterprise MDM for this, but I really have no desire to pay outrageous monthly subscriptions for two kid's tablets. (sorry, the $250/month + $10/device/month offer for MDM services I got earlier today is still being laughed about)
