We are setting up a sister company in another city and have 1 guy there. He has a laptop that is part of our local domain here so he can access the server etc etc until we get a server box down in the new office. I've made him an administrator so he can install anything he needs on his laptop. Problem is it's not letting him install anything unless he's actually in the office here!?!?!?! does the computer need to be connected locally to be able to install things???? If so is there a way around this? Will turning off UAC work? Help please!
