I have a Dell Optiplex 3010 SFF (Small Form Factor). I sysprep the machine to take an image of it. After I turn it back it displays the message "No Boot Device Found. Press any key to reboot the machine." When you hit the "any key" it boots normally. An repeats this every time I start the machine.
The machine comes with three partitions. I have tried 1.) wiping all three partitions, and have Win7 create its two standard partitions; 2.) leaving the all three partitions as is; and 3.) wiping all three partitions using a Vista install DVD and creating a single partition so Win7 will not have the small 100MB partition. All three produce the same results.
I have tried configuring the machine with all the software we intend to install and also with just Win7 with and without the extra drivers. Again the same results.
I have even tried to repair the MBR.
Any other ideas?
