VMware vExpert: are you one? Should you be?

Hi everyone! I'm wondering how many Spiceheads are vExperts? I'm writing a series of articles on the vExpert program as a whole and would love to get feedback from everyone about the concept. What is it like to be a vExpert? What are the perceptions of vExperts from outside the community? (Do you even know what one is?)

My first article has already been published* (http://webreaktech.com/2013/04/19/virtually-an-expert) and is a basic overview of what vExperts are, as well as who should sign up and how. For the followup articles, I'd love to be able to get opinions from the wider IT community...which is where Spiceheads come in!

I want to take the pulse of the vExpert program inside and outside of the VMware community. So...speak your piece, and please...hold nothing back!
