The national federation of the blind is hosting a fund-raising event to raise awareness and fund their youth programs. The event is a full dining experience in the dark and entertainment. I believe there is also a Q&A with the blind waitstaff.
I've attended a similar event (Blind Cafe) before and was really taken by it. The entire room is pitch dark and you can't see anything which heightens all of your other senses. I thought I'd share it here in the Austin group in case anyone is interested.
When: Apr 29th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
