I've attempted this with an asus M4785TD-V EVO mobo. Running dual 1TB HDDs in hardware RAID 0. It gets detected in the windows installer, but any time I attempt to install windows, I get the error "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the setjp log files."
If I delete and re-create a new partition, I get the error "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the setup log files."
Tried in both RAID and AHCI mode. Setup is ports 1-4 RAID, ports 5-8 IDE, tried all settings on RAID and all on AHCI, same problem. I even used GParted to create a partition. It was created fine, but still has a problem on windows installer. Updated BIOS on mobo as well.
Anyone have any idea about this?
