Greetings,
Right now I am working as a Managed Service Provider that does IT work on contract for small businesses in my area. I've come across quite a strange SBS 2011 issue:
Nobody can log in to the server. Not the domain Administrator account, the secondary administrator account, or even any of the users. It's as if every last password has been scrambled and nothing seems to work.
I've launched the server using DSRM mode, and using Kon-Boot to bypass the Administrator password. That gets me in to the desktop. I've tried the old trick using INSTSRV.exe and SRVANY.exe to reset the domain administrator password using a system-privileged service, but running that command outputs 'Completed Successfully' but still does not allow for a proper, normal boot logon.
I got the idea from this article:

But, now I'm stuck, and one of my clients is completely locked out. The odd thing is, the rest of the services seem to be working just fine. File shares, Exchange, etc. It even still is running DHCP and DNS properly when booted in normal mode.
Anybody EVER Seen this before, or know how to get around it and regain control? Thanks.
EDIT: I should mention that this includes local and user accounts, including the local service account we set up when we originally started services with them.
