Integrated SaaS based "PSA"

Back when we first started looking for PSA we decided on one of the mainstream companies that had a "hosted" model... you were forced to use IE or a client if you wanted to anything major. After that contract was up I evaluated other products and became pretty irritated. I decided to do something that I knew I was going to regret... Find the best SaaS based products for each function and try to integrate them.
For instance, QB Online, Freshbooks, Harvest, etc. for finance; Zendesk or similar for helpdesk; Dynamics, Sugar, Capsule, salesforce, etc. for CRM; Kaseya, GFI, right signature, docusign, box, dropbox, etc; I could keep going but you get it...

We have found that it was a great choice as we are using apps that are focused on their individual strengths as opposed to trying to cram them all into one application but the downside is potentially multiple logins and browser tabs. But the initial config of these apps are a breeze.

Here is the question; has anyone else ever gone this route? What was your final take? Is anyone actually interested in a true SaaS model PSA that integrates multiple products as opposed to writing one product that is mediocre at all? If so, what products and what would your idea of "integration" be for these products?
