Hi folks,
My shop is just about to sign up with Intermedia's hosted PBX, but I realized I better reach out for some advice or recommendations. Does anyone have any red flags with Intermedia, and can you recommend another hosted VOIP solution?
I think it's a good fit because :
- our size: 3 - 4 people,
- hosted: we have very little infrastructure here, no UPS, no Ethernet cabling (though I might have to do that anyway - I have an open thread on that question!)
- experience with sales staff and support has been positive,
- giving us free Cisco phones,
- no dedicated IT staff: Just me. I'm good, but I have a lot of responsibilities besides our technology. Our phone system needs to not take up too much of my time. And honestly, if it ever does, I really can't have the blame fall too hard on me! I would consider on premise if I knew someone would be here longer term to take care of the server when something breaks on it.
- I was originally looking at them for hosted Exchange, and they seemed solid. This is a product I may pick up from them in the future.
