My office is currently running on a UC560 and we're looking for a lot of additions to move in. The one main change we're looking for is a tie in with our customer database to have say when a client calls in the caller ID brings up the customer information from the DB. Another is Jabber tie in with presence and mobility (i've looked at Lync and wow is that a PITA to setup) another is full call reporting. The basic call reporting on the UC500 is bs short and sweet, very limited. The new system moves the phone system into more of a call center atmosphere and has a ton of more flexibility over the basic UC500 series. I'm quite impressed and really wish i came across this much earlier.
on to why i'm here, has anyone moved over to the BE6000 model or similar? currently running on a BE6000? what did you move from? how was the transition? how is the current system? pro's? con's? any insights? thoughts? basically looking for any information on this model of system....
for those who aren't sure what the BE6000 is... basically its a cisco ucs C series server with 5 VM's running on VSphere for the phone system. check out here if you want more info. http:/
