Hi,
We have a blackberry express server that has been in situe for a long time, this server has been working successfully for a long time and currently is working for 99.9% of our users.
Recently 3 users have lost the ability to access their emails, one device has been used for tested purposes but is with the filed engineer, this device has been checked with the carrier and is setup correctly for our plans and uses. This has been compared to another working blackberry on our network with the same carrier.
The blackberry handset has:
- Been checked with the carrier;
- Had the host route table reset;
- Checked internet connectivity, successfully;
- Been wiped clean;
Voice, text and data services are working correctly.
After the wipe the handset has attempted to be re-activated with the Blackberry server, I have made the password as simple as possible to reduce and miss communication between my self and the engineer. The email address has been checked to confirm his name hasn't been misspelt on our side and he was typing something incorrect to the system.
I have reloaded the user as well as deleting the user from the Blackberry server and Recreating with activation.
IEMSTest.exe passes for the user account that we are using for testing. The users mail box has received the RIM Network@ETP email including the ETP.DAT file, our email filter has the required blackberry emails allowed on white-list.
The MAGT log has no reference of the user, the ALRT log contains for each activation attempt:
(AFFF4EBA) -> User Anne Onne not started
The email system for blackberry users is Exchange 2003 these 3 are the only blackberry users on this 2003 server, I have migrated the user to a different server but that has not helped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my head hurts from hitting the desk now.
Kind Regards,
Dave Collins
