We've got a public folder that was set up years ago as a sort of repository for useful contacts. Suppliers, support companies, that kind of thing. All the contacts that were originally set up are in a public folder, which is maintainable by everyone - the idea being if someone finds a useful contact, they can just share it with the entire company.
Our MD is quite keen to get it in use again, but the biggest stumbling block I've come across is making it visible in everyone's address book. I know it's possible for an individual to make it visible in their own address book via the public folder's properties, but I'd like to make it visible by default.
We're mainly using Outlook 2003 (with a handful of 2007 licenses out there) with Exchange 2010
Am I even going about this the right way? Is there a smarter way to do it?
