I have applied policies to disable office macros using the Office ADMX templates available. I have enabled the following under User Configuration for all Office products in our environment: Block macros from running in Office files from the Internet, VBA Macro Notification Settings - set to Disable without notification.
I've enabled the Disable VBA for Office Applications for all Office versions in our environment.
When I try to open a Macro-enabled spreadsheet I get an error that strips away the VBA so no macros are present anymore. I would have expected a bar to show at the top with a message stating macros were disabled and that they weren't allowed due to enterprise restrictions. I don't get that. I can also go in as the user and change these macro security settings and I need to prevent that. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank...
