WSUS Updates on disconnected server

So I'm following the MS article on updating a disconnected network, using a WSUS export and import server;

It states to match the export and import settings, epecially the "express installation files" which is fine but do I actually need to use the express installation files rather than the standard ones? I've just downloaded 400 gig of the "standard" update files, I'm not too keen on starting all over again with the express installation files.
