Hello all
I am studying for my MCSA and going through hyper-v now. I setup a lab environment but i am having an issue accessing internet from the hyper-v vms.
I created an external switch and connected it to the VM. The host can access internet but the VM cannot. The VM can ping the external switch network adapter of the host but not the gateway or anything else on that network. The VM does receive DHCP from a DC in the lab enviornment (not a hyper-v vm)
I am using CBT nuggets and in their lab everything works but when i replicate it in my own lab the VM cant get online.
In case it matters my lab is on a esxi host which has a DC and hyper-v server as vms.
Not sure if i am missing something or if it has to do with the fact the hyper-v is a vm on a esxi server
Any help is appreciated.
