I am looking into options for setting up a small office network. 2 computers, 2 printers. They need to be able to share files between computers. The owner also wants to be able to connect to the office from home and edit files. The obvious solution for the file sharing is a NAS. Something reliable. I think 2TB is more than sufficient. Preferably RAID. It would be nice if it could do regular backups, probably to USB drive. They’ve been doing Teamviewer to connect from home. I think the Teamviewer (or a cheaper alternative) would work well for the remote access but I'm wondering if there are small routers with VPN servers so they can use a VPN client then RDP to the work PC (They don't have static IP).
