I have been building out an 1809 image for OSD via SCCM Task Sequence. I first did a build and capture to create a WIM file containing all the applications. I have a second task sequence that uses that WIM file to install on user machines, disable consumer experience, set default start/taskbar icons, and then join the domain (for now).
GPO is not an option. The aim is to deliver a specific setup at the start, users are then free to customize it to how they use the computer. GPO is also not an option for other reasons beyond my control.
The taskbar piece has me stumped. I have tried everything I can find on google after following the MS instructions (and system center dudes updated instructions for this). I have tried everything in this category on spiceworks going back a year using taskbar as my search term.
