So, I made some homemade chicken nuggets and coated them with frank's redhot, and some blue cheese. Pretty good, nice bite right? As I got to the end my mouth was starting to get a bit hot (I've been stupid enough to suck on a ghost pepper- I'm fully aware this is nowhere near as hot as it gets) and decided to wash it down with a can of xenergy melon mayhem.
Now mind you, this is not an ad for any products, but my god... that citrus sour taste plus the heat from the pepper sauce and the sweet from the blue cheese was amazing! Completely unexpected but wonderful none the less.
What have you found that surprised you in such a manner? What food and drink combination have you had that was "eh, so-so" on it's own, yet came alive when together?
And also- I just belched steam. The height of happy is upon me.
