I have a client with a MS Access database that they want to migrate to a cloud storage/access solution with Azure.
While a simple File Store would likely get the job done there are some concerns given the fragile nature of Access databases that we could experience short disconnects that could lead to database corruption.
Ideally we would migrate the DB to SQL but the client wants to stick with Access.
My exposure to Cloud hosting for anything more than a standard VM is pretty limited so I'm wondering if the best option is Server 2016 on Azure with RDS Licenses for the Individual users.Or perhaps sticking with a File Store and using something like Citrix XenDesktop - although im pretty sure the minumum user counts make Virtual Desktop solutions too expensive.
