Hope that someone can help?

I am trying to create an automatic process to check the backup status of databases that are stored within Azure Storage, within Blob Containers.

I am connecting using Connect-AzureRmAccount and my relevant credentials which verifies OK, what I am after are some commands that when run automatically generate a csv file stating the status of the backup?

I have created one to obtain the status from the VM's within Azure but I am struggling with the ones that are within the blob containers.

Hope someone can help and the above makes sense?

Hi All,

Brief Rundown of Environment.

2 x RDS Gateways

1 x RDS Broker

14 x RDS Session Hosts in one Collection.

All on Windows Server 2016 Standard.

Users = 1000 users approx.

Is there anyway i can find out if the maximum limit of sessions on each RD Session Host in my farm?

Is that something set on the session host itself?

Also in preparation of people working from home with this current situation, i want to make sure staff can hit the RDS Gateway without issues, but also not causing distress to the server itself.

On the RDS Gateway manager, is it wise to limit the amount of Simultaneous Connections or set to allow maximum amount of simulatenous connections.

Hi there. I've been using a wg firebox M370 along with dimension appliance. At the moment we have many users working at home. They brought the company pc at home and they are connecting via ssl vpn. I'd like to monitor usage of vpn connection and having a report indicating me how long they do stay connected with date and time. Dimension does not seem to be a viable option.....

Any suggestion?

Hello,

Like many other orgs we are currently going through contingency planning for isolation of staff as COVID spreads though our country, in our scenario all staff have Laptops which is a massive bonus as it enables us to respond quickly to these types of continuity scenarios, however we are running 1809 and do not have enterprise so are on the 18 month support cycle.

We have settled on updating to the 09 update in May as an annual upgrade due to the resource requirements we have, we do not currently have the time or resources to now remotely plan the deployment of 1909 (or any other version) as resources are being diverted to ensure our company can continue to run effectively.

Does anybody know whether Microsoft are planning to extend support for products going out of support whilst organisations and the public respond to potentially...

Hi 

We are using Office 365 with AD sync.

I have a problem where I cannot hide shared mailboxes from the GAL...

The shared mailboxes where once users but after they leave have been converted to a Shared Mailbox.

I have set msExchHideFromAddressLists to TRUE on the AD side but still they are visible in the GAL (Even after 24hours)

I cannot set them hidden via the admin centre as i get the  failed because it's out of the current user's write scope error...

I can delete the AD object and it removes the users from the GAL but then it also removes the shared mailbox too.

Does anyone know a work arround?

Hi there,

I'd like to know if i have RDS user Cal 5 licences installed on a server and i overuse the licences, say 10 users connect to the server. Is there a limit of how many users can access the RemoteApps on RDS server when i pass the licences installed?

I've been beating my head against the wall trying to figure this out. I just want to add all our company employees to the Chat list for everyone to see in Teams without having to go to the top and searching for users to add to their chat list or clicking the New Chat icon. Is it possible to do this? Add all our Teams users to the Chat list upon deployment? 

The closest thing I've found is creating an Org-Wide group but I don't need whole company collaboration. I just need all the users to be listed individually in the Chat list for all users. Like a deployed list of users for Instant Messaging purposes. Please Help!

I'm setting up some of our users to work from home every other day. We have limited hardware so setting them up with a proper VPN and phone at their make-shift home offices was not a solution. What I've done so far is setup the Mobile Twinning feature so that any calls to their office phone will ring at both their office desk and their cell phone so that they can still receive calls remotely. However, placing calls from their cell phones will show as coming from their personal cell phone, which is not the preferable situation.

Is there a feature in the IP Office setup that would allow a user to dial in to their extension, and then place an outgoing call - as if the call originated from their office extension?

One thing that I have been thinking about during this pandemic is how manufacturing businesses are being exempt from the shutdowns. Schools are shut down along with all public facing business (Spa, Salon, Barbers, Gyms, etc.) with the exceptions being Medical, Major Retailers, Manufacturing, Postal, and select others.

The reason that I have been thinking about this is that if there is an infection in the manufacturing facility and you're mass producing goods that go out on a daily basis to both foreign and domestic locations, is this not a major factor contributing to the spread?

This seems to be a big catch because it would obviously have a large economic impact on the global scale because there obviously wouldn't be the goods for the retailers to sell but I guess I should start at the raw material collection industries?

Im having trouble importing a pst file into a mailbox in office 365. I have uploaded the pst in question and I have created a csv file for mapping. When I create an import job it gives me an error that says "please create a primary and archive mailbox for xxx@xxx.org and create a new job. I hve confirmed that the mailbox in question has a license assigned as well. I read somewhere that the guid needs to be in the csv mapping file instead of the mailbox name is that correct?

I am trying to work out a report and I am having a few different errors.  First I was able to get the whole thing to run but it would only do one record now I am getting an Unknown Field or Variable name.

Basically I am trying create a report that exports to excel all jobs at a Workcenter.

Just wondering if I could email somebody my .p file and have them take a look.

We're seeing a new issue arise with our helpdesk.  Some (not all) of our responses result in a note:  

"Error message: Failed to login, determined login method to be form"

Nothing has changed with the service account sending and receiving and most ticket responses send without error.
