Scenario is, user attempts to send an email with a 2mb attachment from an iPhone 5 Exchange email account. User can see the iPhone attempting to send the email for a period of time and eventually it sends. (via wifi)
If we then look at the Outlook email client or OWA, we can see multiple emails have gone out with the same message and the attachment. The most recent duplicate email contains the signature attachment file and a complete attachment. The other duplicates do not have the signature file and the attachments (which differ in size) are corrupt.
I assume that the iPhone is losing the connection to Exchange and then retries until it is sent.
I also assumed that failed attempts to send an email would not be sent from Exchange.
Has anyone experienced this behaviour?
