Hi Guys,
I recently setup a router on a stick configuration, i have two user vlans (vlan 10 , vlan 40) for two seperate companies, each company has its own DHCP server. The problem i'm encountering is DHCP traffic is being sent accros Vlan , eg: PC1 plugged into vlan10 is capable of getting an ip address from vlan40's DHCP server & vice versa from vla40pc to vlan10 DHCP server. How can i stop the switches from fowarding DHCP to the wrong Vlan. I have tried access-list on the router (gateway for intervlan-routing)
deny udp any any eq bootps
deny udp any any eq bootpc
but still DHCP request are moving however they want to all VLans. Please please help Spiceheads.
NB:Internet is working fine
