A company was purchased and a new domain was created. The only server this company has was promoted to DC but when attempting to remove sophos 10.0 anti-virus that was left over from previous administration we receive error 3005 " you must be a member of SophosAdministrator group". I created a security group named SophosAdministrator and added the domain admins group to it (which I am a part of) but still get the same error message. Is there a sophos cleanup tool that can be run? I've been googleing the heck out of this and coming up with nothing.
