Hi,
I have attempted to configure the email settings for our Help Desk however it seems our proxy is stopping us from accessing an external SMTP server (have tested with gmail and outlook.com) with error - "Please note that SMTP via proxy is not supported"
Exceptions cannot be made for this server to bypass the proxy.
Excuse me for my lack of knowledge in how SMTP/mail works but I was wondering whether it's possible to utilize the SMTP feature of Windows Server and configure Spiceworks to use the local SMTP service?
If so, does anyone know how I would go about this?
