Need Public Folder help with Exchange Server 2007

In older Exchange Server versions the properties of newly created public folders was such that the item wasn't hidden from Exchange address list. That must have changed with Exchange 2007. We had a department setup a ton of public folders they want people to use but they don't pop up in email To: because all of them have the "Hide from Exchange address list" checked.

1) All these folders are underneath another folder. Is there any way to unhide all the public folders in one mass command?

2) Is there a setting in Exchange somewhere that will change the default behavior so that newly created folders are not automatically hidden from Exchange list? TIA
