I've recently gotten a Windows Mobile 6.1 device (not of my choosing) that is intended to scan student ID cards and connect back to the ID management system in order to verify if they are an active/inactive student. The problem is that when I try to connect to our company's wifi, it give me about 2.5-3 seconds (no kidding) to enter the username, password, and domain. I've tried with the stylus and with the on-screen GUI that I get when I connect it to the PC. I'm stumped and, apparently, just too slow. Any ideas?
It will connect to the guest wireless just fine, but then it can't talk back to ID machine. Our company's wifi has an odd setup it seems. Windows 7 can see it, but can't connect out of the box. You still have to add it manually and make several settings changes. It is running WPA2-Enterprise.
I've also tried connecting it to the guest wireless to run the Windows updates, but it keeps timing out.
