Server network settings problem

Hello everyone ,

I think something wrong with my servers DNS setup. When i first installed windows 2008 server R2 and created a domain, it would ask to create a DNS server. I followed the instructions and i installed it. Now , I assigned a static IP ( normal static IP ) , subnet mask 255.255.255.0 , default gateway ( my routers IP address ) and the DNS was automatically set to 127.0.0.1.

My problem now is that :

1.) Before the we installed a server into our network , the network here inside the office is very simple. A PPOE connection and i ve configured the router by already putting the username and password of the PPOE connection so that we dont have to always connect. We just plug in the cable and there will be internet. I used opendns as the manually configured DNS in the router. Everything works well actually. When the server was built , the DNS settings of ther router does not take effect anymore.

Is server's DNS correct?

thank you everyone!
