Greetings from Oregon!
My predecessor installed Spiceworks using Exchange 2003 Outlook Web Access as the back end web server. Apache was not used.
I bought a standard GoDaddy cert and, according to directions, applied it to the Default Web Site and the Exchange Web Site on my Exchange server. There seems to be no place to install the cert on my seperate Spiceworks server, as there is no web service on that server.
Spiceworks works fine with HTTP, and with HTTPS, too, but the error message on IE "Continue to Web Page (not recommended)" appears as a warning. The cert that the browser is picking up is not the one I installed on the Exchange server, but a local "Spiceworks" cert from the server that Spiceworks is installed on. I could individually install the Spiceworks cert on users' workstations, but I would like to use the public cert. There seems to be no isibility to that cert.
Thank you!
