I have 2 netgear switch and Agilent HFBR5720L GBIC's that reading the spec's are supposed to support Multi-mode fibre connections both 50 and 60.25um.
However when I connect the cables I get no link.
When I connect a singlemode 9/125 cable I get a link.. I cannot explain this as these GBIC's are supposed to be MM, I have also tried with Nortel 5710 GBIC's as well and I get the same result.
If anyone can help throw any light I would be grateful.
