HIPAA Compliant CRMs

I am looking for HIPAA compliant CRMs that I can evaluate.

We are a SMB with about 60 users.

We will use it for tracking sales of course as well as tracking correspondence, issues, and various other communications with our clients.

It should integrate well with AD & Office 365 and robust global search functionality.

It should be cloud based.

It should be easy to maintain for our small IT dept.

Thanks,

Jnors

P.S. I am at SpiceWorld if anyone has any ideas or experiences they would like to share.

Hi Guys

Just after some advice.

I have a PA who needs to manage the mailboxes of several directors. She has been given permission to each mailbox and its appearing as separate mailboxes under her own. The problem is performance. Outlook is constantly disconnecting and timing out (unsurprisingly). Are there better ways to do this please.

Thanks

How to re-create/reset user profiles on Windows Server 2016/Active Directory?

Quick background. I have four users who have been having issues for some time. For one user, although recent files is enable in quick access, recent files she has open/closed are not appearing. For the other users for some odd reason, File explorer randomly closes at any time of the day. I've tried everything and could not fix those issues. I've come to conclude that maybe their user profiles are corrupted.

How do I re-create those users profiles and make sure they still have their current saved documents, downloads, videos etc

 Thank you.

Powershell script to place multiple entries in one csv part of a foreach loop

Hi Folks,

I am writing a script to extrapolate a number of specific Hyper-V VM queries on the SCVMM. Part of my script is to obtain all IP addresses from a VM. This is my script:

Powershell
$Data=@()$VMs="SOMEVM"foreach($VMin$VMs){$VMInfo=Get-VM-Name$VM$VMNetwork=$VMInfo|Get-VMNetworkAdapter$VMCustom=New-ObjectSystem.Object$VMCustom|Add-Member-TypeNoteProperty-NameIPAddresses-Value$VMNetwork.IPAddresses[0]$Data+=$VMCustom}$Data|Export-CSV"C:\output.csv"-Delimiter","-NoTypeInformation

When I run the script, I get the following:

"IPAddresses"
"10.10.x.x"

...which is fine and dandy, apart from the fact that when I run the command manually, the VM actually has more than one IP address:

Get-VM -Name SOMEVM | Get-VMNetworkAdapter

I get the following output:

Name IsManagementOs VMName SwitchName ...

Set field to all UPPERCASE in a Epicor 10 customization layer

I'm having a bear of a time with what seems like a simple customization step - setting a field to all uppercase. Ideally I'd like to just set the characteristic of the field to Uppercase but I can't find where the Epicor framework supports that. Here's my code:

// Begin Wizard Added Variable Initialization
this.Part_Column.ColumnChanging += new DataColumnChangeEventHandler(this.Part_BeforeFieldChange);
// End Wizard Added Variable Initialization
// Begin Wizard Added Custom Method Calls
// End Wizard Added Custom Method Calls
}
public void DestroyCustomCode()
{
// ** Wizard Insert Location - Do not delete 'Begin/End Wizard Added Object Disposal' lines **
// Begin Wizard Added Object Disposal
this.Part_Column.ColumnChanging -= new DataColumnChangeEventHandler(this.Part_AfterFieldChange);
// End Wizard Added Object Disposal

System is an HP elite desk 800 gen 3 mid tower, i7 7700, 32GB ddr4, 512gb nvme boot disk, EVGA GTX 1060 discreet card.

User rebooted for an update this morning and now it just blue screen loops with WDF_Violation as the error code, which is a driver error. Ive tried unplugging everything but the mouse and keyboard, I imaged the drive, tried to roll back the update in windows 10 troubleshooting, tried to run start up repair, do not have a restore point, Even tried resetting the PC(leave your files) and that failed as well.

I have since took out the nvme stick and imaged a 1tb SSD to mess around with and am having all the same issues.

All of the troubleshooting suggestions I see online have to be done in windows(Which I cannot get into, right after BIOS splash it blue screens) or involves disabling all USB ports in the BIOS(This PC does not...

Issue uploading APN certificate to Office 365.

Hey all,

I was hoping someone could assist me with this rather annoying issue that I'm receiving when uploading Apple's push notification certificate (APN) to Office 365.

When I try to upload the APN to Office 365 I receive the following error;
PatchApplePushNotificationCertificateAsync

The certificate itself is valid and used with the same account as I had originally uploaded it last year. Just to be sure I've renewed it again but this leads to the same issue.

I have noticed that sometimes, even though I still get the error; on the validation page it'll display the details for the new certificate and claims it's valid. Unfortunately the error is preventing me from proceeding/finishing the upload.

At the moment, I'm stumped. I've tried to get into contact with Microsoft regarding this both by phone and mail using the support feature in...

Are you and your website SSLs ready for Chrome M70?

Are your websites that use a Symantec branded SSL issued before December 1st, 2017 ready for Chrome/Google version 70?

- Did you know that this has evolved into a general distrust of Symantec SSLs issued before DigiCert was in the picture-- meaning before December 1, 2017?

-  Yes, Firefox will be doing it also in version 63.

-  Yes, Apple and Microsoft have also said they will do something to distrust Symantec.

Short answer is to reissue or renew.     So gather up a CSR and login to your portal to get going.

Ruckus ZoneDirector setup for multiple SSIDs on separate VLANs

Hi,

Am struggling to get a new Ruckus installation going properly, I'm not sure about the VLAN config and the terminology used. I'm not an expert in VLANs and networking, I have a basic understanding. This new installation is replacing an old one and we have got the new APs in the same switch ports as the old ones were in, for the most part.

The scenario is I have 3 subnets for wifi usage on separate VLANS, they are:

10.1.1.0 - VLAN 10 - Wireless

10.1.2.0 - VLAN 20 - Wireless Guests

10.1.3.0 - VLAN 30 - Wireless BYOD

Then an additional VLAN to consider here is the management VLAN (which the Ruckus Zone Director is on and the network switches are on, and I intended to get all the APs on this VLAN as well).

10.1.4.0 - VLAN 40 - Management (Ruckus ZD has a DHCP reservation of 10.1.4.20)

The switching environment is HP ProCurve. So I need to...

Have you ever wondered where to begin with a faulty pc/laptop?

Good day all SPICEHEADS,

So basically we have a Dell laptop I7, 16gb ram, SSD which is recently giving us quite a hard time blue screening minimum 3-4 times a day.... On bluescreenviewer it keeps saying its the ntoskrnl.exe and headed over to the real genius in IT (Google) and like most BSOD in my opinion its always related to faulty memory,drivers or the usual culprits. That being said here is what we find so far

  • Updated drivers to latest (We did find display drivers were installed for Intel and AMD)
  • CPU is constantly high but in task manager or resource performance it doesnt show really processes using a lot of cpu.
  • Laptop gets hot and with a tool (realtemp) shows laptop CPU temp is around 92C. I am pretty sure that is not normal. Fan is spinning fine though...
  • Windows updates done.

Did someone ever come across a laptop or pc where...

MDT 2013 reference/sysprep issue

Hi,

I've encountered a strange problem with a Win7 reference image I've recently created and successfully captured and deployed. The deployed image is fine and continues to deploy without issue, however, after the reference image was sysprepped and the capture completed, it will no longer boot to Windows and throws the following error:

"Windows could not parse or process the unattend file for pass [oobesystem]. A component or setting specified in the answer file does not exist"

I've never had this happen on previous reference images or, in fact, the Win10 reference (build 1803) I have.

As a test, I re-created the reference image, captured successfully, deployed successfully, but the reference image has thrown the same error and cannot boot normally or into safe mode. Yes, i wish i had taken a snapshot before i captured!

Hi All,

So i have a company "topcats.com" and they have exchange 2010 called "topexe" on prem, and they are being migrated to my hosted platform called "myexchange" (exchange 2013), which has other comapanies that email users in topcats.com.

The problem i have is, when migration is prestaging with migration wiz (for maybe a week) anyone from any of the other companys on my "myexchange" platform, email topcats.com the email goes to the internal email address which is on "myexchange" (my platform) rather than the topcats.com "topexe" there exchange.

The only way i can think to solve this is change the primary smtp address of every user, via script which i dont really wanna do.

Any ideas would be great ! thanks

Hi,  I've got the Decrapifier in my deployment task sequence but it wont complete.  The only parameter i've got is '-clearstart'.

I had this working previously on the previous version of the decrapifier but it doesn't want to play since being updated.

Any ideas as to what might be holding it up?

Hurdles for Accurate GPO Printer Deployments

$

When deploying printers, accuracy is key. If an end user winds up with the wrong printer, too many printers or even no printer, you're looking at printing errors, wasted consumables, unnecessary frustration and helpdesk calls. That's why one of the top responsibilities of any print management team is getting the right printers to the right users at the right time. Many organizations use group policy objects—or, more specifically, GPO printer deployments—to that end.

GPOs aren't perfect, though. Their chains of contingencies leave plenty of room for error and not enough for flexibility. In fluid work environments, for example, end users who move from workstation to workstation or building to building can experience problems with their GPO printer not showing up because the policies that are in place don't account for the users'...

Hello experts,

Do you happen to know how I can get an office 365 setup.exe file. The one I keep getting from the portal is a downloader that's only 4.93MB. I am looking for an actual setup.exe file (probably about 4GB not sure). Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Thanks in advance.

Zenserver upgrade

I am interested in upgrading my Zenserver from 6.2 to current. What kind of process is this like. Can I do that myself? I am not well versed in upgrading Citrix but I am interested to know how many hours it would take to upgrade.

Thoughts.

On the backend I am also going to ugrade our Zendesktop afterwards. Should I do one first before the other?

Thanks,

Sometimes you have to get creative.

Sometimes you don't have a choice. You have to keep the lights on, so to speak, even though your hardware is trying to give you the proverbial middle finger.

We have a Dell R420 Server running Win2012 R2 Std with Hyper-V role. Two VMS. One Windows deployment server. One Domain Controller/file and print server. (yes there are multiple DCs in my network). It decided after a reboot that it no longer wanted to talk to the iDRAC controller. Therefore didn't want to boot nicely. All fans were rev'd up to about 100%. Sounds like an airport runway in the IT office. You can boot the server and limp along.

So i call Dell for warranty work. they tell me motherboard needs to be replaced. Which means downtime. I can't have two buildings down for multiple hours while the motherboard is replaced. So time to get creative.

Two weeks prior, we...

Is there a way to check when the replication last failed?  Currently it is succeeding, but I know recently it was failing and I think my client did something that they don't want to tell me.   So I am wondering if there is some way to see when it last failed?
