Hello all, sorry is this is a stupid question but it's all new to me and would like to learn... I have Windows server 2019 VM as DC, it also hosts DHCP server with a static IP 10.180.2.x/24. The problem is i have a second NIC where the address should be 10.180.3.x/24 given by DHCP server. Is the solution superscope perhaps? And no, I can't do it any other way sorry, it's a lab practice. Thank you very much in advance

Sonicwall Importing Certificates - Error: CA Certificate has been loaded before
I am trying to import a certificate into my Sonicwall TZ 600. I had an earlier issue with a certificate and had to delete it out. Now when I try to import a new one I get an error message. Error: CA Certifcate has been loaded before.
I had an email support case in with Sonicwall but wanted to see if anybody else has seen this.
Thanks,
These are the instructions that I have been following pretty much.
powershell script to save switch config cisco using ssh
Hello,
Within my company we simulated a general cut to see if all of the infrastructure would not have a problem.
after this cut we have them several concerns on at least 10 switch cisco (configuration disappeared).
I'm looking for a way to script (using powershell) the backup of switch configurations on a server by SSH (beginner in scripting).
is it possible to put this in place ??
SpiceRex: Origins
A little creativity from the Discord Server. Here's our rendition of the SpiceRex Origin Story:
There once was a little orange dinosaur who hatched from a white and orange speckled egg. He was sad because his mother had left because a large comet was flying towards earth and could not stick around to be with him. He then was found by two weary traveling Sys Admins who offered to give him a home. They had to finish their work day though and so they took him back to work with them. When they weren't looking, he wondered off and ended up in their server room. He realized all the flashing lights and wooshing of the fans was pretty awesome so he decided to make his new home there and as he grew up he learned more and more about IT. One day, it was time for those sysadmins to retire, so he needed to find a new place he could call his own. He...
For the Nicholas Cage fans out there
This is a very interesting read, as are many of the comments:
https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/ffyvir/nicolas_cage_made_29_directtovideo_movies_in_the/
A taste of it:
The Humanity Bureau. 3/10. Lame, cheap, uninteresting near-future story that doesn’t have anything new to say that hasn’t already been said better in dozens of other movies. Cage is actually asleep at the wheel on this one, just kind of making his way through. In fairness, he isn’t given anything to do. Stolen. 9/10. A cheap Taken knock-off crossed with a heist movie that’s a stupid amount of fun. Josh Lucas is gloriously unhinged here, out Cage-ing the man himself. Mom and Dad. 8/10. A deranged concept which Cage is perfectly suited for Outcast. 4/10. Meh. Anakin Skywalker is a 12th Century Knight escorting hunted royalty to safe haven.

Office 365 MFA - Disable or change a users phone number
Not sure if it's possible but we have employees leave all the time and management wants another user to have access to the account. Generally we move it to a shared box but when the account is generic in nature like sales and not a specific person, another user will have to login and continue working. However when the previous user sets up MFA to their phone, I don't see how to change the phone number as an admin without deleting the mailbox and re-creating. Am I missing something? Just disabling and re-enabling keeps the same information.
VPNs Will Change Forever With the Arrival of WireGuard Into Linux
WireGuard is finally in Linus Torvald's code tree, which means WireGuard should appear in the Linux kernel 5.6 release. And this may be as early as April of this year. This has the potential to change everything about the entire VPN world because all VPN services essentially run off Linux servers.

How best to manage shared workstations & passwords?
We have an environment where shop floor workstations are shared. A generic domain login and somewhat-easy-to-remember, non-expiring password are used, different for each workstation. The credentials are frequently found taped to the front of the monitor. Naturally I want to do away with that but need to continue sharing the workstation where each user does not have their own domain login. There may be 2-3 people using a workstation simultaneously.
They need to be able to lookup the password for any particular workstation and not have it taped to the monitor or hidden under the keyboard. What would you recommend to have that information available but still securely hidden?
Thanks.
Print gmail from networked printer
I have 2 separate instances where a user can't print their gmail to a network printer. It hits the cue and disappears. No error on client, no error on print server, and no error of job on printer. I install the printer using it's IP and it works fine. It is ONLY gmail. I can test print and print from all programs. The gmail print is printing the body of the email. It also is not all email from gmail. Only a select few and no recognizable correlation between them. I'm stumped.
Rename server ?
Hello Spiceheads,
I am in charge of installing a new MS SQL 2019 server on new hardware. The present server is running Windows Server 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2016.
My plan is to install SQL 2019 on the new server, then to rename it the name of the old server.
Is it good practice to rename a server after SQL has been installed ?
Delegated mailbox not auto-updating messages
I have an users O365 mailbox that has been shared with her admin assistant for the last 3 years with no issues. Recently, it has stopped auto-updating the email content on the Outlook desktop client (OWA works fine - live data). The mailbox is set to cache 3-years worth of email. In the status line, the client says "last updated on - date/time" with it being stuck on the same day/time. I found that she can manually force an update of any folder in the mailbox, but it will not "auto-sync". I have tried: deleting/allowing recreation of the username@domain.edu.ost file (no effect), as well as creating a new mail profile for the assistant. This DID work, for 1 day. The next day when she came in, it would not auto-update the shared accounts mail data again, as before. I also, as email admin, removed her full access the account and...
can you assign messaging policy to a team - or only users
we just started working with teams, and is it true you can only assign messaging policies per user, not for the entire team?
seems painful way to manage a group of users.
.Net via WSUS
We have a piece of software that requires .Net 4.72 or higher in order to operate. We have WSUS, so I imported KB4054590 into WSUS to target our version 1607 computers.
The clients aren’t fetching the update. WSUS is reporting status for these clients as “not applicable.”
How can I force the clients to “need” the update and fetch it?

On Prem Office Online Server 2019 not working with new Chromium Edge
We have an on-prem SharePoint 2019 farm with an Office Online Server 2019 for handling the viewing of Word/Excel/Powerpoint documents in the webpage.
We learned today the new Chromium-powered Microsoft Edge will not open any documents when they are clicked on. It gives the error:
It looks like the webpage at https://oos.mycompany.com/x/_layouts/xlviewerinternal.aspx?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&WO... might
be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
I honestly don't even know where to begin with this one. Any help would be appreciated.
Remote client blocked after being listed as exception on firewall/blocked sites
WatchGuard T15 - Using the Web UI, we have had more than 1 remote client be added to the /dashboard/system/blocked Sites, even after their public IP is added to the /Firewall/Blocked Site Exceptions list.
This happens when the client is accessing our internal Exchange Server from a remote network using their phone-on-wifi, from Windows-10 mail and then using OutlookWebApp all from the same network. The first two clients are using Exchange Active Sync and sync on their own, The OWA user finds they cannot reach the OWA page because their public IP is on the System/Blocked Sites list (with a 20 minute time out) that is perpetually starting over.
How is a remote client being added to the System/Blocked Sites list when they are listed as an exception in the /Firewall/Blocked Site Exceptions list.
Office 365 Shared Calendar Permissions
Hi all,
Have setup a shared mailbox with O365 and added the appropriate users in order to add appointments to a shared calendar.
However, some of the users need full access to add and delete appointments and others only require view access.
It looks like on a shared mailbox, administering different permissions to a user is not available.
I can see you can customise permissions which says "Read and Manage" or "Send as" but that is it.
Is there a way to add permissions to a user within the shared mailbox ?
Thanks all
