we recently upgraded out exchange from 2007 to 2013....it did not go well, but that is another story.
Among the things that broke are two accounts for a pair of users who are actually on a separate domain.
All other users on this domain work fine now. these are the only two with any issue.
the issue is that outlook claims that the exchange server is not available, yet I can ping the server from the device having the issue.
I have blown away the profile and now when I try to add it back in manually (auto discover does not work for this domain) when I hit check name, it once again tells me that the Microsoft exchange server is not available.
I then tried renaming the user profile and bringing up a fresh one, the issue remains so I reverted back to the original user profile.
I have even tried kicking the system over to our domain, again the issue remains.
I can't tell if this is a issue with the device or with the server.
any help?
