Why does my Kyocera 4200dn error F25E after about 10 minutes on local network?

We have a Kyocera 42000dn and after about 10 minutes on the local network it shows error F25E. Also I have both given the printer a static IP and from DHCP. Either way I set the IP I cannot access the webpage. The only thing I am able to do is ping the IP. It does not error out if I don't plug in the Ethernet cable into our network.

Things I have tried:

1. Called our printer rep and they sent out a tech who reloaded and upgraded the firmware. He also swapped out the main board and nic.

2. I ran a packet tracer but didn't see anything. I forgot to save the packet tracer, I will run again and post.

3. Reset the printer to factory defaults

4. Checked all our servers to see if we had any printer software that might be messing with it.

5. I have taken the printer to another network and it works fine (No error and I could access the webpage), so...

How to add a field for a second email for ticket submissions.

How do I add a field that a user submitting a ticket for another person so the ticket will go to the submitter and an additional email that the user can enter so two separate people will get notification of their ticket?  Currently a user will login to the portal with their AD account and submit a ticket.  The notification of the submission will go to the submitting user but there isn't a way for them to add an additional user's email so a second person will get notified.  Right now, the secretary answering the call will login to the portal as themselves and put the name of the person calling in the ticket description.  It would be nice if they could enter the person's email address and they would also get the ticket info.

I have a client that has a Optiplex 7050 where the case "Blue Latch" on the back is missing which locks/unlocks the side cover to allow a user to open to expose the guts. Since it missing, the unit stuck in a lock position which I couldn't open. Is their a way to get the side panel opened with this missing latch?

Not sure how he broke it but don't like this case design with the old screws method.

Moving Data to New iCloud Account

Hi everyone -

I have a user with an iMac running OS X Mojave. This is her work computer. This PC is signed into her personal iCloud account, and she's got lots of data being sync'd with iCloud, including gigs of graphics/photos, documents, calendars etc. Her personal phone (and potentially other devices) also use this account.

Long story short, the user has created a new "work" iCloud account, to be used ONLY by her iMac computer. She'd like all the existing photos/documents/calendars to sync over to the new "work" iCloud account, without losing them.

I know its not just as simple as signing out of iCloud in the System Preferences, because that will delete the content from her machine, right? My question is - what's the easiest way to move her computer to this "new" iCloud account, and preserve her existing photos/documents/calendars etc?...

7 to 10 upgrade, 100% Disk, Ive tried everything!!

Gents.. unsure what to do here. I have found about 100 different things to try on the 100% disk usage fix and none have actually worked. just a few links below i have tried again today.

Something that is a bit off for me though.. seems to be the driver for SATA AHCI, if it is "Storahci.sys" then we have the problem. its stated everywhere that if this shows as your driver detail that we have the problem and this should be the fix. that said, i have 2 computers on my desk, both have this "Storahci.sys" but only 1 of them has the 100% disk usage issue. opening an document or application, the one with issues skyrockets immediately to 100.. the other barely touches 50 and drops right back down to 1%.

Next, seems drivers are outdated on the one and i am running Dell System Detect to find all outdated and upgrade as a next test. I have done...

Attachment Size

Hi Experts

I am using Exchange hybrid environment.
An Office365 user has sent an attachment to one onprem user and another office365 user.
The attachment has been received by Office365 user but Onprem User got the below NDR.

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Onprem-user1 (onprem-user1@contoso.com)
Your message is larger than the size limit for messages. Please make it smaller and try sending it again.

So what i read earlier was that when email is sent from exchange online to exchange onprem or vice versa, there is some extra size which get added to the email and encryption process also increases the email size. Office365 got the attachment since its internal to office365 whereas for onprem user the attachment size got increased.

1. Lets say we allow maximum attachment size of 10MB, Lets say office365 user has sent 9.5MB...

Unable to view ticket details

After deleting some apps in Spiceworks settings all techs can no longer see ticket details AFTER switching to a different ticket than was originally loaded. *NOTE* the few apps that were deleted had been off for over 24 hours with no negative impact.

If you refresh the page you can see the first ticket selected, but if you click on another ticket all of the details go away. So the only way to work a ticket is if it's at the bottom or top of your list however you sort it.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Open SW and see the first ticket details:

Move to the next ticket and details disappear:

If you go back to the first ticket details are gone, but if you refresh you are able to view only the first ticket that loads.

Hello,

I am trying to create a new user in AD (Windows Server 2012 R2) When I attempt to create a new user I receive an error:  "the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"

I'm also receiving an error if I open up an existing user object: "the pre-windows 2000 domain name for the user object cannot be displayed".

I cannot recall changing settings on our AD Server.

Hello, I am trying to enable http or https access to a switch on the network. Telnet is no problem and I have enabled ip http server but I can never get in even with my telnet password.

I am thinking I may need to create a certificate for myself in order to do https but even http is failing.  Is there something wrong in the authentication settings?  Is there something blocking this from happening on wireless?

I know it is a noob error but I can't wrap my brain around it.

Thanks!

Client cannot access "Shared Folders" on Server?

Windows Server Essentials 2012R2 domain server. Windows 10 Pro clients.

Have a couple users with ADMINSTRATOR rights and the rest are just STANDARD USERS.

ADMINISTRATORs obviously get full access so no problem accessing Shared Folders. (except when clicking "Network" in File Explorer, I do not see the SERVER, but just shared printers?)

Some STANDARD USERS have Read Only access and Read/Write access only. (Shared Folders created using Essentials)

From a Standard User client PC, I try to access the SHARED FOLDER.

I get the Enter network credentials dialog.

Enter the standard users credentials (under the domain), but get "Access is denied" in red?

I obviously can log in using an admin account (using more choices), but do not want to do that.

(I think I can enter \\SERVER also and gain access around it?)

What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any...

"Operation ShadowHammer" ASUS supply chain attack infects up to 500,000

Hey all,

I'm sure everyone's seen the news re: the ASUS supply chain attack (original story available on Motherboard here). But I wanted to share some high-level facts you can use to get up to speed or to talk about the attack with management/users/clients. I've also pulled together a list of things you can do to determine whether or not you're affected.

I'm ripping these from a post I wrote on the NinjaRMM blog. It has a bunch of additional details if you're interested:https://www.ninjarmm.com/blog/asus-supply-chain-attack-am-i-affected/

Hopefully this is helpful!

What happened? Quick facts:

  • Attackers compromised the ASUS Live Update Utility, which comes pre-installed on ASUS notebooks and automatically installs firmware and software updates.
  • They used the tool to deliver malware to ASUS machines from June 2018 to November 2018. Updates...

How to have BLFs, set for an extension, go red when ext is in DND mode

$

I have a Sangoma PBXact pbx, based on FreePBX and have a slew of Grandstream GXP2160 phones. When I put the phone into DND mode by pressing the built-in Mute button I get the DND symbol on the screen of the phone. However, I have all the phone's physical programmable keys set to represent every extension, and I expected this button's LED to go red when an extension was put on DND. This is what our old system does.

How do I associate the DND status of a phone to change the Red LED status for the extension that has been set to a BLF button on all other phones?

I've read a lot about others wanting to do this. There are references to Device Status, Hints, and other such clues in Asterisk that can be used for making this sort of change in this or that .conf file, but, the syntax I've tried did not get the desired effect. No effect, actually.

SQL Server Always On: Create a Listener to only show databases from an AG

$

Hello,

I am working on creating several aliases for a SQL Server Always on Instance.  The request is to have specific alias or connection string for each application or group of users.

Is it possible to create an availability group and only add a small number of required databases and then create a listener for it, and when you connected to that listener, would it only show the databases that belong to that availability group?

Is there a better way to achieve a solution?  Want to be able to give out a custom connection string to each application group and not allow them to really know what instance they are connecting to.

Thanks for any ideas!

O365 Third Party App Permission

We are in beta for rolling out O365. I have turned off the ability for end users to give apps access to their O365 data. I have then gone in an tried to give a few approved apps permission but it is not working. If I add the app to the catalog does it not then have permission? Where else should I look? One of them is Hubspot and the user keeps getting the same error of your admin does not allow you to give this app permission.
