I have been sent a couple of .req files by our development team for a new host they are working on in and asked to process some internal certificates for our internal domain. Im happy with public cert generation but new to the process of internals ones. I believe we have an active CA on the domain but our main cert guy is on leave so cant ask him. Do I have to use a CA for this or can it be done any other way? Thanks in advance.

the VMMS.exe on the HyperV host is not starting. When I try to start the follwoing message is appearing.
"Windows could not start the Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management Service on local computer
Error 0x8007000e: Not enough memory resources are avaialbe to complete this operation"
My VM's are up and running as able to connect to them via RDP session however I want to get the Hyper-V manager working again. Am not able to reboot at this time due the fact that my 2016 exchange server is on that server and would not like to have a down time with emails.
Also I have noted that when I go to details tab in the task manager the vmms.exe is still showing as running but the service shows as stopped under services.msc.
I have also tried to run proc64 application and tried to kill the vmms.exe that it shows up but access is denied.

We have recently purchased a certificate for our Spiceworks installation so out external clients can access the help-desk however, we are running into issues trying to get the certificates to install.
From our CA we have received two .crt files and have followed the step by step instructions in this guide (https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/127889-creating-and-incorporating-a-public-ssl-certificate-f...) skipping the first few steps regarding creating a CSR (as we don't need one because we already have the certs?) but using openSSL to generate a private key.
Im then renaming the .crt files to .pem files (primary and intermediate as stated in the guide) and ive changed the config file as also stated.

I have an issue with disappearing shortcuts of shared folders between two mac machines. Here is the case in details:
On MAC1 there are 10 folders on the desktop that are shared on the network. They are accessible and visible on MAC2.
When I created shortcuts on the desktop of MAC2, they work fine until MAC1 is rebooted. Then a warning message appears and shortly after that the shortcuts are gone.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?
MAC1 is running macOS
Yosemite 10.10.5
MAC2 is running macOS Mojave version 10.14.3

Hello, not sure if SSIS can move files when integrated into the Integrated Service Catalog. Back story is I have madepackages for Server 2016 whereit imports .csv files and updates the data in to SQl and then moves the files that have been processed to a 'Done'folder. All good.
We have a SQL server that is running 2012 and I incorrectly tried to make a package in VS2017. Oops didn't work with angry errors! After looking up I found that I needed to create the package on Visual Studio 2010 0r 2012 to be able to integrate it to the Services Catalog.
I did this and made sure that I created it from scratch. Also worth noting that you need SSMS 2012 version to integrate it as that can go wrong if you use a later version. I am currently using 11.0.2100.60 which integrated the package perfectly. Good show!

Hi everyone, for those of you who have experience cloning/creating OS/disk images, which free software would you recommend to create hard disk images with only used space (I just need the OS and other 2 system partitions)?
I need the final image to be a small one in size (around 10 GB) and that it can be created/restored no matter the size of the source/destination disk.
I have read about Clonezilla but I'm not sure if it can do what I need.
I need to image 500GB HD's, create around 10GB images, and restore them to 300, 500GB, 1TB HD's.
Is it possible?

I have created an OU on the additional DC which is in an AD site and linked a GPO for Windows Server Update Service's clients' configuring but the GPO is not included in the computer setting when gpupdate the client. .

My remote desktop deployment overview shows everything fine and all certificates are trusted and OK.
I tried to publish a full desktop in RDWeb, but it was not showing up. This is despite ensuring that "show the session collection in RD Web Access" was ticked and everything was deployed correctly. So instead to troubleshoot I published two remote apps and ensured that they were also set to be visible in RD Web:

I've had a look at many topics where people can't view remote apps in RDWeb and none have been able to...
New access begineer here. Been using a access database that was created years ago on Access 2010. I have been looking into migration it onto Office 365. The path i found on the web, was to migrate it to sharepoint. another article mentions support for web apps on sharepoint using access has been discontinued. What lies ahead for me to convert the access database into something user friendly that 10 people on the network/ online and have a office 365 subscription can use. Looking for your input

i want to give a limited permission to a user to lock a new folder he is going to create on mapped driver on server to limit the users who ll access this folder
or to give him the permission to change permission on this folder only with script to limit the access to the same folder
but we can't encrypt data to avoid backup failure
